Who we are
Stairway Audio (“Stairway,” “we,” “us”) makes audio software plugins and sells them at stairway.audio. You can reach us any time at support@stairway.audio.
What you're buying
Our products are digital software downloads — plugin installers for macOS (.pkg) and Windows (.exe). A purchase is a one-time payment for a license to use the software; it is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.
Payment, prices, and tax
Checkout and payment are handled by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and collected at checkout based on your billing address. Stripe emails you a payment receipt; we email your downloads separately.
Delivery
After payment, we email your download links (one per platform, per plugin) to the email address you provide at checkout, from downloads@stairway.audio. Download links are time-limited and expire 7 days after purchase — keep the email and download your installers promptly. If a link expires or the email goes missing, contact support@stairway.audio and we’ll re-send them.
Your license
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on machines you own or control, for making music. You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, rent, or publicly host the installers or the software, and you may not reverse-engineer or modify them except where the law expressly permits it. The software and all related content remain the property of Stairway Audio.
Refunds and the right of withdrawal
Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy. If you are in the EU or UK: by completing checkout you request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. Your statutory rights regarding faulty digital content are unaffected.
Warranty disclaimer and liability
The software is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) and our total liability arising out of a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. The terms in effect when you purchase govern that purchase.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Questions? Email support@stairway.audio.
